ABOUT THE VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERNSHIP:

Our Video Production intern will support the Video Production Team with video pitching, scripting, assisting pre-production, filming, editing, managing assets, etc. This will include collaborating on a range of content formats and video productions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and articulate The Bump and The Knot voice

  • Make creative, fun, and social-driven videos that people will like and share across any of our platforms

  • Keep track of viral trends relevant to The Bump and The Knot, create content around them and identify share-ability in every video produced

  • Proficient editing on Adobe Premiere Pro

ABOUT THE SENIOR COPY LEAD, MARKETING & PRODUCT ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The XO Group is looking for a smart, passionate and funny digital copywriter with 12+ years of experience to conceptualize and create products and services that meet the needs of our advertisers, our brands and our users.

We’re looking for a stellar wordsmith to join our fast-paced, in-house marketing team. The Senior Copy Lead is a cross functional position and will oversee our product and marketing copywriters. This person will work closely with stakeholders from across the company, designers, product managers, and editorial to produce onbrand copy that creates a joyful user experience and elevates XO Group and The Knot brands.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Determine and develop copy strategy that elevates and unifies all brand user touchpoints.
  • Supervise and evangelize brand voice/tone guidelines that are properly tailored to both sides of our marketplace — a diverse mix of couples and experienced wedding professionals (B2C and B2B audiences).
  • Implement and maintain a streamlined process for collaborating with stakeholders from across the company to ensure a cohesive voice and tone across all product channels, marketing touchpoints, and that strategic goals and objectives are met with each deliverable.
  • Oversee a team of product and senior marketing copywriters.

ABOUT THE WEB ANALYTICS ANALYST ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We are looking for a Web Analytics Analyst to help us plan more personalized and fun weddings in less timeas well as reimagine how people propose, navigate a pregnancy and raise healthy babies. This position in the Business Intelligence & Digital Analytics department sits at the intersection of User Experience, Product Analytics and Data Intelligence. The Analyst is closely aligned to the Product organization, contributing to the practice of analytics-based decision making, driving the selection and adoption of new tools, and educating the Product and Design teams on their use. ABOUT THE ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

XO Group Inc. (The Knot, The Bump, and The Nest) is looking for an Account Manager to join our Account Management team based in NY. This role will partner with the National Sales and Sales Planning teams and will support all post-sale and optimization efforts for a key set of accounts. This is a client facing role, focused on all post-sale activity and optimization between campaign launch and wrap- up. The ideal candidate is extremely analytical and a self-starter, with a passion for digital advertising, performance and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the main point of contact for clients post-sale
  • Be an active participant in seamless handoff with the Sales Planner for post-sale execution
  • Be an expert in our ad product offerings
  • Ensure client satisfaction through excellent post-sale service:
    • Plan and run kick-off calls with clients
    • Confirm creative specs and asset deadlines for clients to gather assets
    • Ensure appropriate internal teams (Ad Ops, Studio, Email Ops, Social, Tech, Print Production) have the right assets with sufficient turnaround time for campaign deployment
    • Communicate with agencies/clients and outside vendors as needed for implementation of custom elements, specific tracking needs
    • Ensure all campaign line items launch on time, and provide clients with proof of launch

The Account Strategist Team is dedicated to working with our local wedding professionals all across the country ensuring they have the best experience with The Knot. We work closely with local wedding professionals post-sale to assist customers with their digital/online ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their response.

The Account Strategist is responsible for onboarding all new accounts post-sale. You’ll work closely with Wedding Pros to help them with optimizing their storefront to connecting with the couples that are best for their business. This position is a vital role in retaining customers long term, teaching them all about our tools and how to build the best online storefront.

The Account Strategist Team

The Account Strategist Team is dedicated to working with our local wedding professionals all across the country ensuring they have the best experience with The Knot. We work closely with local wedding professionals post-sale to assist customers with their digital/online ad campaigns by providing tips and insights to increase their response.

The Account Strategist is responsible for onboarding all new accounts post-sale. You’ll work closely with Wedding Pros to help them with optimizing their storefront to connecting with the couples that are best for their business. ABOUT THE DIRECTOR, ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Director, Account Management is a key leader on XO’s National Strategy & Operations team reporting to the VP, Head of National Strategy & Operations.  This person is responsible for managing, coaching and leading a team of Account Managers whose primary focus is ensuring superior client service to our media clients throughout the post sale process. The Director, Revenue Operations is a key leader on XO’s National Strategy & Operations team reporting to the VP, Head of National Strategy & Operations.  This person oversees media pricing/rate cards, inventory forecasting, data segmentation and deal approvals.   • Direct and manage Revenue Operations team responsible for the development, execution, and measurement of strategic and tactical yield and inventory management for display, video, social, email and print ad products, including related reporting

ABOUT THE SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

XO Group Inc. (The Knot, The Bump and The Nest) is looking for a Sr. Account Manager to join our Account Management team based in NY.  This role will partner with the National Sales and Sales Planning teams and will support all post sale and optimization efforts for a key set of accounts.  This is a client facing role, focused on all post sale activity and optimization between campaign launch and wrap- up. The ideal candidate has client services / campaign management experience, is extremely analytical and a self starter, with a passion for digital advertising, performance and client satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Knot’s local vendor marketplace is an ~$80 million (and growing) business within XO Group.  Our mission is to connect our local business partners with the right couple to plan and book their wedding.  We believe in creating performant, elegant user experiences while balancing the needs of a two sided marketplace.

XO Group is seeking a talented and driven Lead Engineer to lead The Knot Wedding Websites team. The Knot is the nation’s leading wedding marketplace, providing our couples with a completely personalized experience that guides them through the entire wedding planning journey. The products you will be working on contribute 45% of The Knot’s traffic: what you build will be used by millions of couples and their guests. The Lead Engineer will be responsible for managing a team of 4-6 talented engineers while working closely with Product and Design Leads to collaborate and iterate on product features. ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Planning and Inspiration zone is responsible for a variety of products that help couples articulate their wedding vision, find the perfect wedding dress, guide them through the entire wedding planning process and create a personalized wedding day timeline.

 

You will have the opportunity to lead several dynamic and agile engineering teams tackling challenging technical problems on web and native mobile.

 

You will be joining a high-performing team with lean product and startup experience. Our product and engineering teams work closely together on every phase of product development from research and inception to release and maintenance.  

 

As the senior engineering leader for the Planning and Inspiration Zone, you will be responsible for ensuring high quality engineering execution through mentoring and managing several engineering teams, hands-on involvement in technical and product discussions, and collaborating with other functional leaders (product, marketing, business development, exec) to set the strategy for the zone.

 

Out technology stack is Ruby/Rails. Node.js, React, iOS/Swift, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, AWS.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit, retain, and manage multiple teams of talented engineers and engineering managers
  • Hold your own in technical and architectural discussions, be a subject matter expert, and have strategic influence
  • Help team members develop new skills and advance their careers
  • Collaborate with product and design partners to define and influence broader product strategy
  • Evaluate buy vs build and negotiate contracts with vendors

ABOUT THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

You are a passionate, versatile, full-stack engineer who loves a good problem to solve. ABOUT THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

XO Group is looking to hire an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join an exciting and motivated team.  The right engineer will enjoy building scalable applications and amazing consumer experiences in a highly collaborative setting both with fellow engineers and also across disciplines with product and user experience.
