This is the number two spot in a fast paced three person art department. This position offers exposure to all aspects of the design process, from conceptualizing initial story ideas, art directing photo shoots to exploring new design ideas for all sections of the magazine. ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE PRODUCT MANAGER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

You will be a key driver behind initiatives of the enterprise financial applications team. This entails innovating the process and development strategies to support XO’s growth in customers, sales, and team expansion. This is not the standard product management role, as this role is building out and enhancing a suite of tools that support our Finance and Accounting teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Director of Email Strategy and Operations to join our Marketing team.

This position will work with editorial, marketing, product and technology to build email relationships with our consumers. The person hired will be a resident expert and drive email strategy for the organization.We are looking for someone that come in and play a critical role in planning and developing email delivery strategies and best practices; growing engagement; creating new email products and processes and finding new monetization and revenue opportunities.

  • Serve as a programmatic subject matter expert within the company on key programmatic business trends and best practices.  
  • Train the Sales Team on packaging and selling programmatically.  As needed, join other sellers on sales calls with programmatic buyers.
  • Work with Marketing and Account Strategy to produce sales collateral (insights, media plans and post-campaign reports), as appropriate, for Programmatic buys.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 6+ years of digital media/cross-platform sales or buying experience (with 3+ years of digital experience in programmatic ad sales, revenue operations and/or business development)
  • Solid grasp of the programmatic media ecosystem and experience working DSPs, SSPs, DMPs and trading desks.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals as determined by management.
  • Able to easily create prospect lists and new revenue opportunities.
  • Should possess a database of digital agency, strategy and client decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to easily negotiate and optimize for performance and yield.  
  • Excellent verbal / written communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate complex situations into simple terms.
  • Love of marketing and solutions-oriented, consultative selling
  • Strong cross-functional and collaborative track record, team-player, able to multitask

ABOUT THE ENGINEER MANAGER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

XO Group is seeking a talented and driven Engineer Manager to join our Enterprise Team.  The Enterprise Team is responsible for the overall success of our National/Local Sales team as well as our Finance organization.  You will be leading a talented and experienced engineeringteam, working on some of XO's most important initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage a small team of talented, technical, Salesforce and Data engineers.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and motivation to the engineering team.
  • Leverage technical skills to drive architecture and technical direction, product and features, as well as infrastructure, process, and tool improvements and adoption.
  • Partner with cross-functional partners such as Product and Marketing to deliver quality features and products to our end users.
  • Work with Software Architect and other Technical Leads to add, improve, and maintain the current applications, architecture, and infrastructure.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years Salesforce engineering experience.
  • 3+ years SQL
  • 2+ years experience managing high performing software development teams
  • Experience working in an Agile, TDD environment.  Testing FIRST!
  • Experience building a team via various methods of recruiting.
  • Experience guiding continuous improvement of technology, architecture, process, and productivity
  • Experience with eventually consistent data paradigms and distributed systems architectures
  • Experience with third-party systems integration
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong business and technical vision
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, continuous flow development environment
