Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand business requirements
    • Develop / Customize / Enhance Integration solutions utilizing Dell BOOMI
    • Create/Maintain documentation for our systems
    • Develop and support self-monitoring, robust, scalable systems, ETL/ELT processes, and data RESTful API service
    • Work with JIRA, our project and issue tracking system
    • Manage database supporting elements including schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, scripts and declarative integrity constraints
    • Provide production support to our business users
    • Participate and attend sprints to achieve our business objective and goals 

Skills & Experience

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience with software development
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Cloud integration using Dell Boomi integration platform.
  • Experience with developing integration with Salesforce using Dell Boomi.
  • 2 to 3 years system integration experience with SOA, SaaS, and ETL technologies.
  • 2 to 3 years programming in SQL including queries, stored procedures, triggers and functions
  • Must display strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Javascript, Groovy or similar programming languages. 
  • Boomi Integration Developer Certification a plus
  • Experience with developing integration with Zuora a plus
  • Experience with Postgres a plus

ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE DATA ARCHITECT ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Enterprise Data Architect is a highly visible and key cross-functional role that is tasked with ensuring the Tech organization is operating with a data first mentality and that data quality, integrity, consistency, and reliability are core requirements of all software/data systems. The Enterprise Data Architect will develop a detailed knowledge/understanding of the data our systems produce and provide both tactical and strategic direction as it pertains to data management, consumption, and production. This individual must possess the combination of business knowledge, technical skills, and people skills to define and guide data strategy.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Champion data quality, integrity, consistency, and reliability throughout the tech organization by defining and promoting best practices and establishing/enforcing data governance across all product squads

 

  • Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership on advanced data techniques, data architecture, and data integration implementations, including the assist and review of logical and physical data models as well as other important data structures (messaging, events, etc.)
  • Establish standards and guidelines for the design and development, tuning/optimization, and deployment of persistence technologies
  • Partner with the data warehousing group, product analytics, and business intelligence to ensure their data needs are being met
  • Develop specific metrics (KPIs) to assess data quality/consistency and measures/reports on these metrics periodically
  • Works with the security architect to ensure compliance with data security and privacy mandates

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics/Statistics preferred
  • Several years of experience being responsible for data architecture on an enterprise-wide scale
  • Extensive experience modeling and implementing operational systems (transactional systems)
  • Expert knowledge and experience with both structured and semi-structured data and persistent storage systems, including both SQL based and flexible schema systems (notably PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch)
  • Experience working with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence systems. Experience in multi-dimensional modeling and developing star schemas, normalized and denormalized models, and utilizing “slow-changing” dimensions.
  • Event modeling experience required. Familiarity with Segment a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and establish strategic objectives, project plans, and goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across different functional areas. Can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Possesses strong consensus building abilities and negotiating skills

ABOUT THE ENTERPRISE PRODUCT MANAGER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

As our Enterprise Product Manager, you have experience with customer facing systems, are focused on understanding the ‘why’ when solving a problem, and have a passion for solving problems through technology.  You are a team player, who enjoys understanding business priorities to build a product roadmap, and understand the importance of building customer relationships. You will work with with other enterprise product managers, developers, and business owners to build enterprise solutions that solve the businesses problems and deliver value.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with business partners to understand prioritization so you can own and manage the product roadmap
  • Gather requirements for business problems to be solved, which includes discovery documentation, business process diagrams, user story requirements
  • Manage product lifecycle of an initiative, which is focused on the requirements gathering process, iteration planning, and UAT support
  • Focus on asking ‘why’ to ensure we are providing solutions that meet the customer's need.
  • Challenge the norm if it results in a better way of operating

REQUIREMENTS

  • Expert experience in requirements gathering, including GAP analysis
  • Very strong listening skills
  • Experience in an Agile environment, with focus on user story creation, backlog management, and roadmap planning
  • Experience working with other product managers, developers, QA, business owners, and upper management
  • Experience working with users during the UAT phase
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to document and deliver SFDC best practices to stakeholders that meet business needs
  • Experience with Enterprise Systems
  • You are experienced and happy in a fast moving, continuous flow environment.
  • 2+ years of SFDC or similar CRM experience as a power user, analyst, administrator, or solution architect desired

 ABOUT THE REGISTRY TECHNICAL OPERATIONS ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

The Registry Technical Operations role provides a great opportunity for candidates seeking to leverage their combined business and technical skills. We are looking for a savvy, organized, analytical, and helpful person with experience in Affiliate Marketing technology, API/ETL data processing, and general IT or web-platform best practices. The Registry Technical Operations team combines expert communication strategy with deep operational knowledge to support continuous improvement and great quality of our registry product. This position requires a strong technical mind with solid data experience to support the other members of the team.  This position in the Business Intelligence & Digital Analytics department sits at the intersection of User Experience, Product Analytics and Data Intelligence. The Analyst is closely aligned to the Product organization, contributing to the practice of analytics-based decision making, driving the selection and adoption of new tools, and educating the Product and Design teams on their use. The position also works in close collaboration with the Data Intelligence team to identify and cleanly capture the data required for our algorithms and analysis.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with the technical teams of the largest retailers, including Amazon, Bed Bath and Beyond, Crate & Barrel, Macy’s, etc.
  • Lead and support technical projects and ongoing changes related to current and prospective partners.
  • Monitor key data exchange and loading processes.
  • Test and configure attribution links and other customizable site elements.
  • Investigate, track, and resolve data and attribution outages, using ticketing systems
  • Collaborate with internal Business Development, Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Accounting, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure that our users have the best registry experience for their weddings or baby showers!
  • Maintain positive relationships within and across XO teams and with partner teams.
  • Be accountable for escalating issues to satisfactory resolution.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years technical experience with technical details of affiliate marketing programs
    • Experience with affiliate marketing web tracking technology (i.e, tracking URLS, Pixels, Browser Cookies)
    • Working with Affiliate Networks such as Impact Radius, Linkshare, Commission Junction
    • Monitoring, troubleshooting, validating data exchanges via SFTP and API
    • Data troubleshooting and analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, Python, etc.
  • 2-3 years operations experience managing Technical Projects with real-time business impact
  • Customer/Client Service experience, including working in ticketing systems like JIRA, Pivotal, and Asana
