The Enterprise Data Architect is a highly visible and key cross-functional role that is tasked with ensuring the Tech organization is operating with a data first mentality and that data quality, integrity, consistency, and reliability are core requirements of all software/data systems. We are looking for a Web Analytics Analyst to help us plan more personalized and fun weddings in a shorter time. As our Web Analytics Analyst, you will identify insights and trends in our data, enabling us to build products that better address a couple’s needs during life’s most important moments. Given the unique perspective of working across products and brands, this role is positioned to influence decision making by providing thoughtful analytical insights.

This position in the Business Intelligence & Digital Analytics department sits at the intersection of User Experience, Product Analytics and Data Intelligence. ABOUT THE DESIGNER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

XO Group seeks a talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer with 3+ years digital experience. As part of our in-house team, this position will be responsible for working within existing brand guidelines for both digital and print projects—and will take on a wide variety of projects focused on B2B Marketing, local sales, online products, tools, and more. This is design support role, with the primary focus on DIGITAL assets, but must possess solid PRINT skills too.

Some examples of design projects: responsive email template creation, email maintenance, responsive website design, web banners, presentations (PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote), social media, media kits, sell sheets and one sheets, events signage and invitations, infographics, logo design, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work under the direction of the Creative Director and more senior designers on the Creative Team

  • Design within the look and feel of our established brand identities along with collateral related to different themed events

  • Knowledge of Sketch is a plus

ABOUT THE REVENUE AD OPERATIONS ANALYST ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

We are looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual to fill a key role in our organization. Reporting to the Revenue Operations Manager, the Revenue Ad Operations Analyst will be crucial to yield & inventory management as well as providing visibility into inventory trends across the XO Group Network. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Yield management
  • Use outstanding analytical, quantitative and problem solving abilities to inform inventory decisions
  • Provide strategic support to the Sales Organization regarding daily inquiries into inventory availability
  • Proactively alert the team of potential delivery issues due to overbooking, traffic changes, and site nuances
  • Provide recommendations for alternatives when desired inventory is sold out
  • Work with the Business Intelligence team to produce inventory related reports and dashboards including sell through analysis and forecasting models
  • Strategize with team members to develop ways to improve order & inventory management processes
  • Analyze DMP data to suggest viable Audience Segments for new sales products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Sales, Account Strategy, Product Management, Production and Marketing to identify inventory opportunities
  • Manage programmatic platforms (exchanges, DSPs, header bidding)
  • Maintain accurate ratecards in OMS
  • Own the process of setting sales goals and act as an advisor to sales management using data driven reasoning
  • Manage vendor relationships and lead regular calls with organized agendas

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in ad operations or online media/advertising with experience in inventory management a plus
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills and Advanced Excel proficiency required
  • Eagerness to learn quickly and take on projects with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Experience with DFP Premium & Operative.One or other order management tools preferred
  • Experience with Yieldex preferred
  • Knowledge of DMPs, DSPs and Audience Extension preferred, but not required
  • Must possess excellent attention to detail

ABOUT THE DATA ENGINEER ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

XO Group is hiring a passionate and highly skilled Sr. Data Engineer on the Data Platform Engineering team to maintain the current email integration platform.  The Sr. Data Engineer will carry on work to develop a new platform to replace the existing platform.  In addition,  candidate will have an opportunity to work on and develop on XO’s Analytic Data Platform (Snowflake) to merge and aggregate event and operational data providing  insights for Product Analytics and Business Intelligence.  This position requires a highly organized, self-directed and highly data focused team player with strong analytical skills and deep understanding of data processing in distributed systems.  The Sr. Data Engineer will work closely with the Architect to collaborate on architecture and see the design through the complete SDLC.  In addition, candidate will work with the Product team and Email Ops personnel to understand business requirements and translate functional requirements into technical specification.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain  the current XO to Responsys integration
  • Collaborate with Architect, Product and Operations to develop a new platform for integrating data from XO into Responsys
  • Collaborate with BI Analyst to determine Responsys deliverability metrics for analytics and reporting.
  • Develop integrations to consume external data from Responsys to be used for analysis
  • Participate in the migration of the current platform to the new platform.  
  • Lead data migrations as necessary to support multiple Responsys accounts
  • Collaborate with Product Leads and Email Marketing Ops to understand changes to current platform
  • Translate functional requirements into conceptual and detailed design specifications
  • Collaborate on architectural changes to implement into the pipeline
  • Develop data pipelines using AWS services such as SNS, SQS, Lambda and S3

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 Years developing with Python
  • 1 + years Experience developing and maintaining services in AWS such as  SNS, SQS, Lambda and S3
  • 1 +  years experience with Postgresql and ElasticSearch
  • 1 + years experience developing and working with  Rest APIs
  • Experience working with distributed systems
  • Experience working with HoneyBadger, Jenkins and GitHub
  • Some experience with Node.js and Ruby desirable
  • Data warehouse and data modeling experience is a nice to have
  • DevOps experience is a nice to have
  • Must display strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
