ABOUT THE GREAT PLAINS ADMINISTRATOR ROLE AND OUR TEAM:

Great Plains Accounting guru that will maintain our existing GP environment and take us into the future by leading the charge to migrate our existing GP environment to Microsoft’s GP SaaS offering. Shine as you dazzle our accounting user community by delivering impeccable assistance and support for their inquiries and problems as they use Great Plains day to day.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Providing day-to-day technical application support for accounting user community
  • Configuring and deploying Microsoft GP on SQL platforms (including GL, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, order entry, HR, and purchasing modules)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with hardware/software and escalate complex problems when necessary
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as reviewing operating logs, applying patches, maintaining user accounts, etc.
  • Provide expertise and management of third party applications and integrations into the GP platform
  • Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements, etc. to meet business needs

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • 5 - 10 years experience supporting Microsoft Great Plains in SQL environments with integrated third party applications
  • Demonstrated ability to create complex SQL queries that will aggregate data across the GP database landscape
  • In-depth understanding of GP table architecture including tables, data elements, and data relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to independently resolve technically complex problems with minimal guidance or direction
  • 3 - 5 years experience providing technical application support to business users
  • Bachelors degrees in Business, MIS, or Accounting

ABOUT THE WEB ANALYTICS ANALYST ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
We are looking for a Web Analytics Analyst to help us plan more personalized and fun weddings in a shorter time. As our Web Analytics Analyst, you will identify insights and trends in our data, enabling us to build products that better address a couple’s needs during life’s most important moments. Given the unique perspective of working across products and brands, this role is positioned to influence decision making by providing thoughtful analytical insights.

This position in the Business Intelligence & Digital Analytics department sits at the intersection of User Experience, Product Analytics and Data Intelligence. You will be closely aligned to the Product organization, contributing to the practice of analytics-based decision making, driving the selection and adoption of new tools, and educating the Product and Design teams on their use. The position also works in close collaboration with the Data Intelligence team to identify and cleanly capture the data required for our algorithms.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the production and distribution of web analytics including:
    • Scheduled reports
    • Ad hoc reports as necessary to aid the Product organization in the analysis of web-based products
  • Maintain the digital tracking infrastructure, including compiling and reviewing data requirements for the collection of web analytics and event data, and evaluating the product analytics landscape for new tools as they emerge
  • Educate the Product organization in the practice of Product Analytics and the accompanying toolset
  • Proactively identify notable changes in patterns and trends across all products and brands
  • Help to “clean up” and centralize data for consumption by multiple stakeholders



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills with a knack for recognizing trends/patterns in large data sets
  • Must be comfortable drawing key insights from data and communicating/presenting these findings to stakeholders and decision makers
  • Must be able to identify and communicate effectively with product and engineering teams
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Experience collecting and leveraging user event data for analysis (e.g. segment.io, keen.io, MixPanel)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Birst, Mode, Tableau, chart.io, d3)
  • Basic SQL querying skills
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task, and keen to work in a collaborative environment
